If there was still any doubt about Bucks owner Herb Kohl's willingness to open up his wallet, they were emphatically dispelled during free agency.
For whatever reason, Kohl has acquired a reputation of being tight with his money—even though he has repeatedly paid huge sums of money to several players and coaches over the years.
This summer, Kohl vividly showed again he's willing to pay the price to put a quality product on the floor. In fact, some NBA observers contend Kohl overpaid in all three of the Bucks' three major moves.

The Milwaukee Bucks acquired a fan favorite when they completed a trade Wednesday for Sacramento Kings forward Jon Brockman. Bucks general manager John Hammond said he thinks Bucks fans will love Brockman, too. "Any fan base anywhere will appreciate a player who plays with the type of energy he does," Hammond told The Associated Press.
