So far, the Houston Astros transition to a rebuilding status is looking pretty good. J.A. Happ made sure of it Friday night. One day after arriving in a trade from Philadelphia, Happ allowed two hits over six innings in his Houston debut and the Astros beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-0. Happ and two minor leaguers came to the Astros on Thursday in a trade that sent Roy Oswalt to Philadelphia.

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Lance Berkman is headed to the New York Yankees, who plan to complete a deal to acquire the former all-star from the Houston Astros on Saturday, a day after the World Series champions obtained outfielder Austin Kearns from the Cleveland Indians.
